After your customer has decided that they are going to rent with your facility, sitting down with them and going through the lease is an excellent opportunity to educate them and build that relationship. At Associated Storage our customers get to come in and sit down with our staff after the decision has been about which storage unit will fit their needs.
During the lease process, our staff goes over the rules and lease policy. The customer is encouraged to read the lease. Our staff does take the time to educate the customer on using their gate code, the rules at the facility as so much more. The most important part of this is that we are getting to know you, the customer. You as the customer are getting to know our staff and about utilizing self storage.
I enjoy hearing our customers talk about how they like our personalized service and how our staff calls them by name. I especially like hearing that our customers who have left, have returned because we took the opportunity to build that relationship and that the customer feels welcomed back.
